Again loads of outstanding performances: Ngugi struck again
at the 10.000 m (27.11.62), his fellow Kenyan Moses Kiptanui beets
the stadium record in 3.000 m steeple (8.06.46).
The women's events were also af an exeptionally high standard: 21.64 for
Merlene Ottey, and Heike Drechsler jumps
a fantastic 7m25.
But the performance of the meeting is credited to Michael Johnson
: 19.89! |
