Make sure to keep Sunday 27 August 2006 free in your agenda. That's the date of the ING Brussels Marathon. The beautiful route through Brussels and the surrounding verdant districts will remain unchanged.
Here are a few reactions to the 2005 ING Brussels Marathon:
I had a wonderful time at the Brussels Marathon on Sunday! I finished the half marathon in 1h58, I was happy with the result even if I was a little tired after getting up so early!! Bravo for the organisation, it was a real success!!

I'm Karen Walker (5th women overall Sunday) actually English but I've been living in Paris for 20 years now.
Brussels was my 10th marathon but the first since the birth of my third child last November.
My record was 3h23 so I was delighted to finish in 3h12 especially as it was far more hilly than I expected.
The organisation was excellent, plenty of drink stops and good marking.
Brussels is a beautiful city.
I'll be back next year.
Very kind regards,
Karen
The 2005 Brussels Marathon was an enormous success. Compared to 2004, the course has been completely changed and the race goes through very nice and green areas. This is not an easy one: two very steep hills at KM 15 and 36.
Organization was top-notch from packet pick-up to the finish. Water stations every 3 km or so: this is unusual in Europe. The weather was just great. Field was about 1000 runners for the marathon and 2500 for the half (separate start). I would definitely recommend this one: it is worth the trip to Brussels.
