Everything you need to know about accessing Antwerp on 22 April!
Traffic restrictions will be in place in the city of Antwerp on Sunday 22 April. For yet another year, the city, De Lijn, the police, the Flanders traffic centre, the Flemish region and the event organisers will be deploying additional efforts aimed at organising traffic to and from the DVV Antwerp 10 Miles & Marathon.

As a participant, you should observe one golden rule, namely: leave for Linkeroever on time. Traffic will be very heavy after midday. A series of activities will be programmed in Linkeroever to make sure you have a pleasant afternoon.

We ask for the understanding and patience of everyone who needs to travel to and around Antwerp on 22 April. We are doing everything we can to minimise congestion.

All drivers should note the provisional closure of the Kennedy, Bolivar and Waasland tunnels.
  • Kennedy tunnel: closed from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM (tunnel towards Ghent)*
  • Bolivar tunnel: closed from 12:15 PM to 6:00 PM
  • Waasland tunnel: closed from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM
* All traffic will be diverted through the other tunnel in both directions.
